Gothic style statue of Madonna with child. It has much more shiny parts than others, probably because it is placed in a place accessible to people who, by touching it repeatedly, have made the front part more shiny than the back, which instead has an ancient patina. This theory is made stronger by the fact that the Madonna's right hand is not left totally detached from her body but with a thin marble bridge to make it less fragile. It could indicate that they already knew before that she would have to put up with pressure on her hand.
